Dr. Rowe, David M. - Co-Chairman

David is EVP for Risk Management with SunGard
in London from 1999. He advises operating units
on risk management functionality and
development priorities in their software
applications.

David has over twenty-five years of experience in
banking, risk management & econometrics. Prior
to his current position, he was SVP and head of
the Risk Management Information group at Bank
of America in San Francisco where he was responsible for the design,
deployment, maintenance and operation of market and credit risk systems
for the bank’s global FX, derivative and securities trading activities. He has
also worked with Townsend-Greenspan & Co.

David has contributed chapters to Derivative Credit Risk (1st & 2nd
editions); Credit Derivatives; Modern Risk Management: A History; and The
Professional Risk Manager’s Handbook. He writes a monthly column for
Risk magazine called 'Risk Analysis' since October 1999.  David has also
edited and partially written a series on capital markets related risk issues
for The RMA Journal. He appears regularly at industry conferences where
he typically addresses practical issues surrounding risk management
practice and methodology.

His professional affiliations include involvement with the PRMIA London
committees; member of the governing Board of the International
Association of Financial Engineers; member of the Editorial Board of the
GARP Risk Review.

David holds a BA in economics with distinction from Carleton College, an
MBA in finance with a concentration in money and banking from the
Wharton Graduate School of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in
econometrics and finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
