Dr. Banziger, Hugo
Hugo is the Chief Risk Officer of Deutsche Bank
AG since 2006 based in London. He is a
Member of the Management Board & Member of
the Group Executive Committee.
Hugo joined Deutsche Bank in 1996 as Head of
Credit for Global Markets. He has been Head of
Credit for the Investment Bank, the bank's Chief
Credit Officer and in 2004 assumed
responsibility for Operational Risk as well.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Hugo was Global Head of Credit for Credit
Suisse Financial Products, the derivatives house of Credit Suisse Group.
Hugo has contributed to various approach papers as a leading
representative of industry. He has spoken at leading events in North
America and Europe and his views are sought out by industry bodies and
regulators.
Hugo is a member of the London School of Economics Court of Governors.
He is a non-executive director for Eurex, the world's leading exchange for
traded options and futures and is on the board of directors of The John D.V.
Salvador Foundation. He is Chairman of the Banking Supervision
Committee of the European Banking Federation, member of the
Consultative panel Committee of the European Banking Supervisors, and
member of the Basel 2/CRD Implementation Advisory Group, UK FSA. He
was also a member of the Counterparty Risk Management Policy Group.
Hugo holds a BA in Economic History and a PhD from the University of
Berne.
