Beder, Tanya Styblo
Tanya is Chairman of SB Consulting Corp.
(SBCC), based in New York. She founded SBCC
in 1987 and returned as Chairman in 2006.
Prior to this, she was CEO of Tribeca Global
Management LLC (Citigroup), a $3 billion
multi-strategy hedge fund and MD of Caxton
Associates, a $10 billion investment
management firm. Prior to her senior roles in

the prestigious Institutional Investment Manager of the Year Award.
Tanya has written numerous articles on derivatives and risk management
published by HBR, the Financial Analyst’s Journal, the Journal of Financial
Management, Wiley etc. She was an author of the Risk Standards for
Institutional Investors and Institutional Investment Managers. She is a
speaker at leading events around the world and has been an expert before
US Congressional Committees, OECD, IOSCO, World Bank and IMF.
Tanya is prior Chairman and now a board member of the IAFE, co-chairing
its Investor Risk Committee. She served PRMIA’s Blue Ribbon Panel. She
is on the Advisory Board of Columbia University's FE Program and is an
appointed Fellow at Yale. She has been adjunct faculty at Yale and
Columbia. She serves on the National Board of Mathematics and their
Applications and is a member of the board of directors of two private firms.
Tanya holds a BA in maths from Yale and an MBA in finance from HBS.
