Chris is Head of Research at RiskMetrics
Group, Director of the Geneva branch office, and
one of the founders of the firm. He is
responsible for coordinating research across
the firm, and for overseeing RiskMetrics Group
research publications including as Editor of the
RiskMetrics Journal and as author of the
RiskMetrics Research Monthly column.

Prior to his current role, Chris managed the credit products business,
where he was responsible for RiskMetrics Group’s services related to
credit trading, economic capital, and structured products, including the
CreditGrades, CreditManager and CDO Manager product lines. He was
editor of the CreditGrades Technical Document. He has also worked in risk
management at J.P. Morgan, where he co-authored the CreditMetrics
Technical Document.
Chris has numerous articles/papers to his credit and is among the twenty
most cited authors in Risk Magazine, 1998-2006. He speaks regularly at
events in Europe, US and Asia-Pacific including those organized by
financial services regulatory bodies and leading universities like Stanford,
Princeton and NYU. He is the Associate editor of the Journal of Credit Risk
and is a Referee for Risk Magazine, Journal of Risk, and Journal of Credit
Risk.
Chris holds a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Duke University and a
PhD in Applied Mathematics from Princeton University.
