Christopher is currently a Managing Director

Asia-Pacific based in Singapore.  He is
responsible for their Regulatory Compliance,
Risk Management, and Performance
Management Services for banks. He provides
expert assistance to projects region-wide.

Christopher has over twenty years of experience in a number of areas of
banking analytics including regulatory compliance (Basel II in particular),
risk modeling, capital management, risk adjusted performance
assessment, as well as linked technological & data management issues.
Before his current role, he was a senior director at Oracle Corporation,
where he ran their risk and analytics applications in Asia. He has also
been an executive director at UBS, where he headed the bank’s corporate
risk advisory team in Asia. He is also a former senior financial services
consultant at Ernst & Young and has worked with O’Connor & Associates.

While in E&Y, Christopher wrote a well-regarded textbook on Operational
Risk Management titled ‘Measuring and Managing Operational Risks’
(Wiley ’01) and has contributed chapters to four other books and many
respected publications including Asia Risk, Risk Magazine, Journal of
Derivatives. He is a sought after speaker and has spoken at numerous  
Asia-Pacific events in the areas of Credit, Operational, and Market Risk, as
well as bank capital management and regulatory compliance.

He was one of the co-founders of the Singapore NUS Center for Financial
Engineering and is also currently active in the new Berkeley – NUS Risk
Management Institute (RMI).

Christopher holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, a MA &
BA in Theoretical Physics from Cambridge, and a doctorate in IT & Finance
from Harvard Business School.
