The company was incorporated in 2006. It is setup to meet the needs of
the risk, compliance and governance community. The Risk Who's Who™
service was launched on 29 September 2006.
Initial sponsorship in funding and voluntary effort to run the organisation,
is being provided by a few key professionals.
It is expected that over the course of 3 years the organisation will
become self-financing through corporate sponsorship. This will also
help us in expanding our services to Network members.
CEO
Dr. Sammy Ho is our CEO. He is currently the Managing Director of
PlusConcepts, an events management firm. Sammy runs the operations
of the firm as well as specifically covers the finance and technology
sector clients in the region. He was previously the MD of Euro Group.
Sammy is well connected with regional corporates, associations,
regulators, education establishments and government officials. He has
hosted various risk management forums with the governments and
professional associations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore
and China.
Sammy has worked in Hong Kong, England, Japan and Canada. He
received his PhD in Process Control from England in 1996.
