Bruce Carter
Bruce is the SVP of Risk Management, Software Risk Solutions Ltd, New
York, from Nov. 2003 and is responsible for marketing the firms risk
management solutions.
He has over twenty years of experience in banking, risk management &
econometrics. Bruce's practical experience in implementing credit and
market risk policies and systems at leading FIs, has been of enormous
benefit to his current clients.
Prior to his current assignment, Bruce worked with a leading US Bank
and was responsible for development, deployment and management of
credit and market risk systems for derivatives, foreign exchange and
securities trading. He headed the Capital Markets Credit Committee.
Bruce has won numerous awards including the GARP Risk Manager of
the Year award in 2003.
Bruce has presented and published widely on credit risk management,
credit derivatives and credit exposure. His papers have been published
in the Journal of Risk, the Journal of Credit Risk, etc. He has been
interviewed by Reuters and CNN and has spoken at leading international
conferences in the US and Europe.
Bruce has guest lectured at HBS.
Bruce is an MBA from Columbia Business School.
